These cuties came in a close second for my favorite shoes that I considered for our April Challenge. They make me feel very tall, and are fun to wear... for about an hour. Then I have to sit down or take them off.
Welcome to my Art Blog! I paint most weekdays and hope you enjoy these small daily works. I fondly call them my "Postcards from Paradise" because it's such a beautiful place the Lord made here for us.

These are wonderful - you really captured the suede! I've been really inspired by your painting challenges, I look forward to reading your article about starting one!
Your shoe series is great Diana! Have been sneaking around in my wife's closet!!??
These are really nice. I like the design of the black shoes and red material.
They were fun to plan and paint... lots more enjoyable than wearing these devices of torture!
David, I'll look forward to seeing what shoes you find to paint... sneakers?
Jane, thank you... so glad you're enjoying this blog. I'll look forward to seeing your own Challenge group one of these days!
Beautiful, Diana. Love the black suede against that vibrant red.
Thanks so much for dropping by, Don.
Reds seem to be a bit of a challenge to accurately display in a digital file for the computer. It's never quite as good on the screen as in the painting, but I'm happy to hear you got the idea!
Lovely work Diana! The red and black is very elegant!
I appreciate the kudos, Michelle. Red and black do make an elegant pairing.
