Original unframed oil painting, 5"x7".
Still life of black bear skull
with aviator style sunglasses.
©2009 Diana Moses Botkin
We've had this black bear skull on our window sill since we picked it up on a hike awhile back. He's missing a few teeth and reminds me of some old guy sitting in the sun just taking life easy in his twilight years.
Welcome to my Art Blog! I paint or draw most weekdays and often finish a painting a day. I fondly call them my "Postcards from Paradise" because it's such a beautiful place the Lord made here for us.

You've got to feed your husband better.
You're probably right, Bill. Oh wait... my husband still has his front teeth.
A great painting. And, a fun piece for Aprils 1st!
Thank you, Pam. It's fun to do something silly once in awhile.
hahaha!!
I take it from that you like the painting, Bob?
Love it! And of course, your drawing skills got a workout.
So did my funny bone.
Thanks for dropping by, Mary; it's nice to hear from you.
