Original miniature oil painting, 2"x3"
Unframed, with free mini display easel

I hope you are well this week and enjoying your family, and summer. There is so much to do this time of year out in my garden and the yard, house projects, seeing my kiddos and friends, etc.
We've had such lovely weather lately here at the edge of the earth, and a bunch of beautiful sunsets. Here's a recent one I wanted to capture and share with you; a study of feathery glowing clouds in this very small format. Let me know if you'd like me to paint a big one for you!
Welcome to my Art Blog! I paint most weekdays and hope you enjoy these small daily works. I fondly call them my "Postcards from Paradise" because it's such a beautiful place the Lord made here for us.

This is lovely, Diana. It feels so expansive that it's hard to believe it's in such a small format - beautifully done!
The size of a painting IS difficult to perceive from these blog posts!
Although sometimes the miniatures are labor-intensive, usually big ideas can be quickly portrayed in this tiny format. The minis give me a chance to work out the composition and colors without a major investment of time.
Contrast this little 'un with weeks spent on the piece in my last post, "Summer Lullaby".
