It's cherry picking time at our place this week.
I love the pie cherries and the sweet cherries. Together or separate. Alone or in a pie. They're wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

They are good as is this painting. I remember picking cherries as a child with the neighbor girl. She wore an apron which she would hold out to keep the cherries in.
That sounds like a good way to do it. A bowl or colander sometimes falls off the ladder. I'll have to try an apron tomorrow!
