Sitting above our town is this magnificent mountain, named Clifty. I'm frequently amazed at how much it changes through the seasons and with the evening light.
My favorite time is when the sun just catches the top ridge of snow at sundown to highlight it in gold or pink. I love the way it contrasts with the blue violet colors in the snow and the mountain.
