Welcome to my Art Blog! I paint or draw most weekdays and often finish a painting a day. I fondly call them my "Postcards from Paradise" because it's such a beautiful place the Lord made here for us.

Apricots are so delicious. I think they might be addicting.

While I'm working on a portrait job I have this week, I'll post a few ACEOs. They're fun little studies; tiny glimpses of what catches my eye! You just never know what I might paint.

Oh, this one is so pretty and amazing that it is so tiny, but so realistic in color, shape, form, shadows, etc. I can just feel that apricot soft tissue through my monitor. It has got to be even more realistic and softly beautiful in person! Somebody better grab this one quickly!

How nice to read your kudos today, Donna! Thanks so much for affirming what I felt when I painted that lovely fruit.

Apricots are one of my favorites and they're loaded with a bunch of great vitamins, esp. high content of vitamin A. Also the Beta-Carotene and Lycopene, plus the fiber all make it one of God's many blessings this time of year!
