I love this time of year and the surprises in the sky at the end of the day, all aglow with reminders of the Creator's magnificence.
Welcome to my Art Blog! I paint or draw most weekdays and often finish a painting a day. I fondly call them my "Postcards from Paradise" because it's such a beautiful place the Lord made here for us.

You do these little ones so gorgeously. They have a definite Fine Art feeling, a painterly feeling even though they are tiny.
Most of all, I love your figure work. It is undeniably your forte!
Thank you for taking time to leave your remarks, Donna. I've been thinking a lot about the figurative work the past few weeks. With no model available lately, I've missed the unique challenges of working from live poses.
If I had to pick only one subject to paint, it would indeed be the figure.
However, there are countless lovely scenes and subjects in this life that call to me.
This is a spectacular little painting.
Thanks, Bill. This one was especially fun to paint.
